Cafe Updates (and Chasing My Pot of Gold)

Cafe Updates
  1. Friday is Mee Siam day :)
  2. Due to the lack of staffing at the moment, please make your orders at the main counter. Kindly get the management's attention by pressing on the counter bell.
  3. We apologise for the lack of parking. For all customers' convenience and to prevent your own car from getting blocked (in case you need to make a speedy exit), please park along the side of the slope, along the grass and tarred road. It is advisable that you park with your bonnet facing the main gate for an easier exit. Or you may park at the three (3) bays in front of the main door. The carpark should comfortably fit approximately 10 - 15 cars.
  4. For those who would prefer to park on levelled ground, you may park at the Amphitheatre's carpark, situated opposite the cafe (about half a minute's walk to/from cafe).

To all our valued customers : Thank you for your patronage, your compliments, and for your much appreciated patience and good naturedness during rush-hour lunches :)

We are in the process of adding new dishes to our menu, and constantly striving to better our service. We appreciate your feedback and ideas, keep 'em coming! ;)

Why are there so many songs about rainbows,
And what's on the other side?

Rainbows are visions, they're only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide

So we've been told and some chose to believe it,
But I know they're wrong wait and see

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered,
When wished on the morning star?

Somebody thought of that and someone believed it,
And look what it's done so far

What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing?
What do we think we might see?

Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name

Are these the sweet sounds that called the young sailors?
I think they're one and the same

I've heard it too many times to ignore it,
There's something that I'm supposed to be

Someday we'll find it The Rainbow Connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Saw this gorgeous rainbow yesterday from the Atelier Cafe around twilight time. Ran to get the camera and snapped away. Lovely.

The rainbow appeared after a downpour and there was a gorgeous sunset, albeit not visible from the cafe. The warm colours from the setting sun washed over the streets and silhouetted the leaves that were rustling in the post-rain breeze.
